Booking your bridal hair & makeup 

How Soon Should I Book?

We recommend booking as soon as you know your wedding date, especially for popular dates. Most brides book 12-18 months in advance.

How Do I Book?

To secure your spot, simply accept the quote, sign the T&Cs, and complete the booking form. A 30% booking fee is required to confirm your date, payable via bank transfer or stripe.

How Much Do You Charge?

How Can I Check Availability?

You can check availability by sending us an email or DM us on Instagram.

How Long Will My Hair & Makeup Take?

For the bride, we allocate 1.5 -2 hours for hair and 60 -90 minutes for makeup. We’ll confirm the timing after your preview. Bridal party members typically take around 40-50 minutes for hair and or makeup.

Do You Charge for Travel?

Travel is complimentary within a 5-mile radius. After that, a fee of 50p per mile applies. Travel charges will be included in your quote.

Where Do You Travel?

Based in Cambridgeshire, we cover the East of England, and we’re happy to travel anywhere in the UK. We’re often at venues like Swynford Manor, Bassmead Manor Barns, The Old Hall Ely, Hengrave Hall, Lanwades Hall, Pentney Abby, OxneadHall, Holmewood Hall, The Granary estatesGaynes Park, Gosfield Hall, Butley Priory, Bruisyard Hall, Wilderness Reserve to name but a few. 

Destination weddings are available upon request.

Do You Have a Minimum Booking?

Yes, our minimum booking is for the bride + 2 adults. Additional bridal party members can be added at an extra cost.

 

Hair & makeup Trial Preview 

When Should I Wash My Hair Before My Preview?

Please have freshly washed, dry hair the day before or morning of your preview. We’ll discuss hair care and preparation during your preview.

Should I come to my makeup preview without makeup on?

Yes, coming in with a clean bare face is a great starting point to your makeup preview. 

When Should I Book My Preview?

We suggest booking 3-6 months before your wedding, once you’ve chosen your dress and have a clearer vision of your look.

How Long Will the Preview Take?

Previews typically last 2-3.5 hours, depending on your chosen look. We’ll try different looks to ensure you feel 100% confident.

Can My Bridal Party Have Previews Too?

Yes! If your bridal party wants a preview, we can arrange that.

Where Does the Preview Take Place?

Previews are held at either my professional bridal home studio near Ely or if booking with a collective team member you will be given their studio details upon booking. We also offer limited on-location previews or Saturday appointments for an additional fee.

Do I Need hair Extensions for My Style?

If you’re considering extensions, we can help you find the right ones and even provide colour matching.

What About Hair Accessories or Veils?

If you’ve already chosen accessories, feel free to bring them to your preview. We also have a selection available for you to try.

What about skin care? Our team or expert artists can offer skin care advice and help with any struggles you have. 

On The Wedding Day

When Will You Arrive?

We’ll aim to arrive early and start setting up 15 minutes before your appointment. Your timeline will be sent to you 4-6 weeks prior to the big day.

Can I Change My Mind on the Day?

Absolutely! We’ll have a good idea of your hair and makeup from the preview, so if you change your mind, we can easily adjust on the day.

Will You Stay Until I’m Ready?

Yes, we’ll stay until you’re dressed and ready to walk down the aisle. We also offer touch-ups during photos and after the wedding breakfast as optional upgrade services.
